  • Representative rock samples are shown in the photos, and they weigh approximately 12mg.

  • The Lunar meteorite NWA 4932 was discovered in Northwest Africa in the Great Sahara Desert in 2007.
  • Meteorite hunters found just one stone with an original total mass of only 93.9 grams.
  • NWA 4932 represents a Lunar melt rock from a high temperature impact crater.
  • Geochemically, it is a feldspathic-breccia achondrite.
  • It is very similar to rocks gathered during the Apollo 16 missions.
  • The Lunar Meteorite NWA 4932 is consider intensely rare.
